Vision is the sense most important to learning and development. Children’s eyes can change rapidly, and undetected eye conditions can have lifelong effects.

Early detection is vital, and a full eye examination will not only ensure that your child’s eyes are healthy, and seeing well, but also that their vision is developing properly. If need be we can refer to the most appropriate professional.

All children under 16 (and those under 19 in full time education) are entitled to eye examinations funded by the NHS. If they need glasses the NHS provide a voucher that will cover the cost of glasses (selected range).
